Free Financial Peace University Lesson

It's a great idea for every couple to talk about finances (at least before getting married). Even better: going a step forward and taking a financial planning class together.


That's where Mr. Dave Ramsey comes in....

Dave Ramsey is offering you and your honey bunny (and your mom and his mom and your neighbor, etc.) a free Financial Peace University lesson. You can attend the first lesson of the 13 lesson course entirely free. Find the nearest FPU class here.

**Be aware that there are 13 lessons in all, and this free offer is just for the first lesson. I am not aware of how much the full class cost to attend. The disclaimer on Ramsey's site reads:

The first lesson of Financial Peace University is totally free.  All you have to do is register  to attend. Once the first lesson is over you will be given the opportunity to purchase your lifetime membership which includes the rest of the FPU lessons and class materials.

Even if you cannot attend Financial Peace University, check out Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover" book from your local library. It's a great way to get started saving and paying off debt!
